I’m a resent Graduate of Skilled Rehab Therapy Inc. as of October 2007 but a 5 (five) or so year veteran since moving into the Lutz/Land O’ Lakes area, I wear a left hand brace that is hard to put on because it causes much discomfort and pain. Beth puts the brace on for me with no discomfort, AND there is no discomfort. It saddens me when my 3 times a week visits come to an end. The professional therapeutic care is the best in Pasco County. where everyone, the employees Debbie/Sharon are so friendly it is like being welcomed into their home, their help opening the door as I struggle walking with a Hymie walker to the door to the Husband and Wife team of Dino and Marie Beth Lontoc who are the most professional Therapist that I have had, believe me I have had many different Therapist since 1999.

On December 27, 2005, I had a car accident. I ended up with a broken left leg along with minor cuts and
bruises. Doctors placed a metal rod and 2 screws in my leg permanently. On January 24, 2006 I was referred to Skilled Rehab. I was very nervous and did not know what to expect. Well let me tell you, it was and incredible expirience. Since day one the staff made me feel welcomed. They explained everything step by step and what to expect as far as recovery. If I was looking for a full recovery and they dilivered. I remember asking them if I could expect to be dancing by April. They said yes and guess what, I was. My injuries were very sirious, but thanks to my therapist, I made progress rapidly. They worked really hard we me and were always encouraging. For this, I will always be thankful. I want to thank all the staff at Skilled Rehab specially Dino, Beth, Debbie and Sharon for there support.

I have suffered from severe degenerative disk disease developing after an aircraft accident in 1950. I have had three separate orthopedic surgeries to fuse five lower vertebrae and three cervical vertebrae over the years. When referred to Skilled Rehab by my Rheumatologist I was limited to five minutes standing or walking before lower back pain forced me to collapse where I was to rest. I was further limited to the necessary use of a Power-Operated-Vehicle for any movement beyond the five minutes.
The two months of tri-weekly sessions of instruction, with Dino or Beth, helped me develop my stabilizing back muscles, which had atrophied over the years. I remember that time as periods of intense effort on my part, gentle encouragement on Dino's part, interspersed with rest periods that always seemed too short. I also remember Dino's ability to listen, to understand my problem, and then thoughtfully design exactly the exercise that would rebuild those muscles ~ something which I had long ago abandoned any hope of achieving. In the months since then I have continued the exercises Dino designed to correct my limitations.
I am delighted to report that ~ after six months ~ I am now able to do the entire course of exercises without sitting down to rest ~ and am now able to walk for prolonged periods when I accompany my wife shopping.
In truth, it is like a miracle to be able to walk again after so many years. Because of this experience with Dino and Beth Lontoc ~ I am pleased to recommend their skilled services.
